The Russian River Falls in Coopers Landing a good three mile hike in the Chugach Forest. This is bear country makes sure you hike with bear spray. This location is a very popular fishing spot for the locals and tourist alike. While you can't fish the falls, there is a second trail, off the main one, that you can follow for some great salmon fishing.
